I’ve seen a few of these out now. Really great looking little machine. Still not really sure why anyone would buy it over a Toyobaru though.

I think the Toyotabaru is uglier, bigger, and also older.

I think that its a great car though, yet I would probably find myself buying a Miata over either the Subaru or the Toyota.

If you could get rid of the dumb “Targa” roof and make it a fixed roof coupe without the need for heavy chassis strengthening and actual storage (alike the miata coupes of old) I’d buy one in a heartbeat.
